Here is where the bottom of the barrel resides. The scams, the sketchy, the fake, the junk. Lots of bad moves, some unfortunate and some likely deliberate. Take caution when dealing with any of the projects listed below.
- Alliance Games - Login via social (Google, etc) ever since it began. When wallet connection became a requirement, they claim a wallet was created automatically by your social login, though you cannot access it, and you can't add any other wallet. Many ineligible due to this bug, and the moderators don't know how to help.
- AlphaOS - Last update was February about TGE being in Q1. Silence since then.
- aZen - Disastrous launch, giant price dump, most users' airdrops locked behind even more social task requirements after TGE, and some users receiving nothing. Running their DePIN Lite node appeared to mean nothing if you hadn't taken part in social tasks. Rude and unresponsive moderators in Telegram, confusing and unclear eligibility requirements only released after TGE.
- CapFizz - Copied Gradient's docs word for word, inactive on Twitter
- CoNET - Browser-based mining throughout the second half of 2024 and early 2025. Since Q1 of 2025, zero information has been given. Mining stopped, and the one moderator only says "stay tuned."
- DDAI - Some aspects looked similar to OptimAI - Sold digital nodes with SOL commission, stopped paying commission due to a "wallet issue", required around a $7 claim fee for claiming earned $DDAI, and then their website disappeared as well as their Discord and Twitter. This one was a bit more difficult to see coming since one of their co-founders is known publicly (like in the case of Network3), they had a gold star on Twitter for a "verified organization" rather than just a paid-for blue check, and were very active on social media.
- Flow3 - Alleged connection to Voltix. Selling "nodes" with SOL commission.
- GaGaNode (Meson) - Removed withdraw ability from dashboard, Discord is dead, and bans people from Telegram group for asking about the removal of the withdraw ability
- Humanity Protocol - Many users ineligible despite meeting criteria. Appears to actually be a raffle system.
- KLEO - Problems since it began - Moderators/devs kept saying there were updates coming, but nothing happened. Points almost never increased. Seems to be totally dead.
- Lanify - Went silent for months, then came back announcing everyone's earnings were completely reset to 0
- MeshChain - Required real BNB in order to mine in testnet, using BNB daily to claim (easily racking up to $15-$30 per month in "gas" fees), and looks like a copy of others
- MyGate - Charged small amounts of real SOL to "verify" wallets, and apparently had a pre-sale and then went totally silent. Telegram community changed to private.
- Network3 - Disastrous launch, most users didn't get airdrop, and those who did got very little. Price dumped massively on launch, one of the team members removed the name Network3 from their Twitter profile, and the founder has gone silent on Twitter.
- NodeGo - Looks sketchy and like a copy of others.
- OpenLedger - Successful token launch, but largely pushed aside the community. Barely anyone was eligible, despite being in top-tier rankings. Even one of their brand ambassadors was ineligible, who also thinks it was just a raffle and had nothing to do with actual testnet participation.
- OpenLoop - Initially many updates with many partnerships. After a while of digital node sales, very few updates. All of a sudden after months of silence, they had a major push 1 month before TGE, then the token launched on Pump.Fun (massive red flag - never seen this before for a DePIN project) and token claims were only available for those who had purchased digital nodes. Those who could claim, the claim was worth roughly $5 while the node was around $100. "Team" disappeared and their Discord and Telegram became ghost towns.
- PublicAI - Tons of people ineligible on launch day despite having met all criteria. Only criteria was to make sure your socials and NEAR wallet were connected before snapshot, but it did not seem to matter. Some users had plenty of points and had connected their wallets months prior, but still ineligible. Appears to actually be a raffle system.
- SparkChain - On initial launch, the website, promotional material, color scheme, and even promotional language, was nearly identical to Grass. In July 2025, Spark opened a "fair launch" which meant committing SOL in order to get a guaranteed portion of SPARK tokens on launch. Once the fair launch goal reached 95.2% it stalled and there have been zero updates from the Spark team since.
- Voltix - Had node sales with SOL commission, stopped paying commission, announced TGE on April Fool's Day, and then went silent.
